Gamma Eta Sorority, Inc hones the leadership skills of its members by providing numerous opportunities of involvement within the organization. The sisterhood also focuses on fostering many of UF's leaders as several of our sisters are actively involved in prestigious organizations on campus. In the past and currently, many Gamma Eta’s are members of Cicerones, Preview Staff, SAVANT, Accent, Student Government, and Florida Blue Key, just to name a few. Sisters are also part of various executive boards on campus including the Women's Leadership Council, Hispanic Student Association, Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Women's History Month, Cuban-American Student Association, and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Up to date, five of the Alpha Chapter sisters have been inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. It is the highest recognition given to student leaders at the University.
