The causes of breast cancer are not fully understood. Although it is clear that a woman's age, gender and lifetime exposure to estrogen and other factors play an important role. Because no one knows exactly what causes breast cancer, there are no sure ways to prevent it but many ways to help the cause.
Gamma Eta Sorority has a week each fall semester to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Events throughout the week include: Penny Wars, Breast Cancer Brunch, Flag Football Tournament, and many other events.
